Do you know who Bung Karno is? Bung Karno was the first president of the State of Indonesia. Bung Karno was an important figure in the struggle of the Indonesian people for independence. He was the Proclaimer of Indonesian Independence (together with Mohammad Hatta) which occurred on August 17, 1945. Soekarno was the first to spark the concept of Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian state and he himself named it. Of course Bung Karno was helped by his friends. They tried hard to free Indonesia from the colonial nation. The country’s independence can never be obtained just by being lazy all day long. Indonesia’s independence will not be realized by relying only on one or two people. Indonesia’s independence was achieved by hard work. Indonesia’s independence was realized thanks to the united determination and action of all Indonesian people throughout the region.

Recalling the efforts of our heroes to fight for Indonesian independence, it is appropriate now that we as Indonesians can appreciate it by filling this independence day with various positive things with enthusiasm and a high sense of nationalism so that we can participate in independence day.
We can manifest a high spirit of Nationalism in many ways, but the most important thing for us as students is to study hard and not just be lazy. We as students have been facilitated by various kinds of technology and the internet. This can have both positive and negative impacts on us. The positive impact, we can get a lot of knowledge and information. We can learn many things from the internet, ranging from lessons in history, biology, mathematics, physics, social sciences, and also foreign languages. However, this can also bring negative impacts such as playing games for too long and also social media. It all makes us lazy. Therefore, my dear friends, let us be a useful generation for the homeland and the nation. A competitive, active and imaginative generation for the name of our nation so that we can give pride to our nation, so that we can participate in making the name of the Indonesian nation proud.

So many speeches that I can convey on this happy day, hopefully what I have conveyed today is useful for all of us. Hopefully this year, the 76th year, Indonesia will always be a developing nation. Thank you for your attention.

Selamat pagi, salam sejahtera bapak, ibu, dan teman-teman terkasih. Pada hari, 17 Agustus 2021, negara kita merayakan ulang tahun kemerdekaan ke 76. Setiap tahun di tanggal 17 Agustus negara kita merayakan upacara untuk memeriahkan hari Kemerdekaan. 17 Agustus merupakan hari dimana rakyat Indonesia bergembira untuk mengenang kembali jasa-jasa para pahlawan yang telah meraih kemerdekaan. Seiring waktu, negara kita pun semakin berkembang tiap tahunnya. Kita semua beruntung bisa berkumpul pada hari ini karena jasa-jasa pahlawan yang telah membela Negara kita sejak puluhan tahun lalu. Masih ingatkah kalian siapa nama-nama pahlawan yang telah membantu untuk membebaskan Indonesia dari penjajahan? Ada banyak sekali pahlawan-pahlawan dari berbagai daerah yang rela mati demi kemerdekaan bangsa Indonesia. Salah satunya adalah Bung Karno.
Taukah kalian siapa itu Bung Karno? Bung Karno adalah presiden pertama Negara Indonesia. Bung Karno merupakan sosok penting dalam perjuangan rakyat Indonesia untuk meraih kemerdekaan. Ia adalah Proklamator Kemerdekaan Indonesia (bersama dengan Mohammad Hatta) yang terjadi pada tanggal 17 Agustus 1945. Soekarno adalah yang pertama kali mencetuskan konsep mengenai Pancasila sebagai dasar negara Indonesia dan ia sendiri yang menamainya. Tentu saja Bung Karno di bantu oleh teman-temannya. Mereka berusaha keras untuk melepaskan Indonesia dari bangsa penjajah. Kemerdekaan negara tidak akan pernah bisa didapat hanya dengan malas-malasan sepanjang hari. Kemerdekaan Indonesia tidak akan bisa terwujud hanya dengan mengandalkan satu atau dua orang saja. Kemerdekaan Indonesia diraih dengan kerja keras. Kemerdekaan Indonesia terwujud berkat bersatunya tekad dan tindakan dari seluruh rakyat Indonesia di seluruh daerah.
